Once again, Food Technique Berlin brings one of Tokyo’s most acclaimed Ramen destinations to Germany, welcoming Ramen FeeL.
Ramen FeeL pop up with guest chef Daisuke Watanabe from Ome, Tokyo, Japan
Friday, March 13, 2025, from 01:30pm until 10:00pm
Saturday, March 14, 2025, from 12:00am until 10:00pm
Sunday, March 15, 2025, from 12:00am until 10:00pm
For the first time, Daisuke Watanabe, chef and owner of Ramen FeeL, will come to Europe for an exclusive event at the Chipperfield Kantine in Berlin-Mitte. Ranked among the Tabelog Top 10 ramen shops in all of Japan, Ramen FeeL is widely regarded as one of the country’s most exceptional Ramen destinations. Renowned for its deeply thoughtful and refined approach, the shop has become a true pilgrimage site for Ramen enthusiasts, drawing guests all the way to Ōme — a two-hour train ride on the Western edge of Tokyo.
Watanabe-san’s bowls are defined by clarity, balance, and an uncompromising focus on quality ingredients, representing a modern and highly precise expression of ramen craftsmanship that has earned the shop its outstanding reputation. He will be accompanied by his wife Yuka-San, who serves as the host at Ramen FeeL, bringing her warmth and hospitality to our event in Berlin.
The fixed menu for €59,00 per person includes Ramen FeeL’s signature Ramen, a side dish, and a small dessert. More details about the exaxt menu will follow soon. This will be another truly unique bowl with flavors and textures you rarely find outside Japan (if at all).
Based on experience from previous pop-ups, Friday, the first day of the event, is when workflows need to settle in, so wait times may be slightly longer in some cases. We will be happy to offer guests complimentary drinks to make up for any inconvenience (on Friday only).
The majority of seats will be sold via reservation in advance (through the booking widget in the right corner). Each seating has a time limit of 75 minutes (with an additional buffer of 15 minutes). Seats will also be available for walk-ins all day (depending on availability).
The reservation system for the event is now online for a limited number of seats (see the booking widget in the bottom right corner).
Inside the Chipperfield Kantine guests will experience the atmosphere of a real Japanese Ramen shop with an open kitchen to watch Daisuke-San preparing the bowls. This also means that its going to be pretty cramped and rushed inside, since cooks and servers will hand out food and drinks to guests as soon as its ready (just like at Ramen shops in Japan).
Unfortunately no vegetarian/ vegan alternatives will be offered during the event. The soup might contain fish, shellfish and pork/ chicken. No pickups or takeaway possible.
Ramen FeeL, founded and run by Daisuke Watanabe and his wife Yuka, is a highly focused ramen shop located in Ōme on the western edge of Tokyo. Rather than operating multiple locations, the couple has devoted themselves entirely to refining a single, clear vision of ramen, resulting in bowls regarded among the very best in Japan. Consistently ranked among the Tabelog Top 10 ramen shops nationwide, Ramen FeeL has received some of the highest accolades available in Japan’s ramen scene and is celebrated for its precision, depth, and uncompromising ingredient quality. As the only officially accepted apprentice of the legendary Ida Shoten, Daisuke-san carries forward a lineage that deeply informs his meticulous approach, while Yuka co-runs the shop and serves as its warm and welcoming host. Despite its remote location, Ramen FeeL draws devoted guests from across the country and is widely regarded as a benchmark for contemporary ramen craftsmanship.
