Chuka Soba Nishino (中華蕎麦 にし乃) pop up with guest chef Hiromitsu Mizuhara from Tokyo, Japan

For a third time Hiromitsu Mizuhara, owner of Koike group, will come to Berlin for another exclusive event at the Chipperfield Kantine in Berlin-Mitte. This time we will serve the stellar Ramen from Chuka Soba Nishino (中華蕎麦 にし乃), another renowned Ramen shop of his. It’s not only on Tabelog’s current Tokyo Top100 list, but also used to be awarded with the Michelin Bib Gourmand Award!

The fixed menu for €59,00 per person includes Chuka Soba Nishino’s signature Ramen, their famous roasted pork Chashu rice bowl as a side dish, Sansho pepper oil as Ajihen (for mid-meal flavor change) and a small dessert. This will be another truly unique bowl with flavors and textures you rarely find outside Japan at (if at all). We are also working on some exciting specials, which you can order on the side (for an additional charge).

The majority of seats will be sold via reservation in advance (through the booking widget in the right corner). Each seating has a time limit of 75 minutes (with an additional buffer of 15 minutes). Seats will also be available for walk-ins on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets for the first day of the event, Friday, October 10, are available now.
The rest of the tickets will go online only in September.

Inside the Chipperfield Kantine guests will experience the atmosphere of a real Japanese Ramen shop with an open kitchen to watch Mizuhara-San preparing the bowls (get an impression of our pop up from 2023 here and from 2024 here). This also means that its going to be pretty cramped and rushed inside, since cooks and servers will hand out food and drinks to guests as soon as its ready (just like at Ramen shops in Japan).

Unfortunately no vegetarian/ vegan alternatives will be offered during the event. The soup contains fish, shellfish and pork/ chicken. No pickups or takeaway possible.

Koike group, founded and run by Hiromitsu Mizuhara, operates eight shops in Tokyo, Japan: King Seimen, Chuka Soba Nishino, Tsukemen Kinryu, Inose, Aidaya, Aidaya 2, Hongouen, Koike and Koike no iekei. They all serve different styles of Ramen and are regarded as some of the best in the country - four of his shops are listed in Tabelog’s recent Top100 and up until recently two (!) of them had been awarded with the Bib Gourmand by Guide Michelin (out of only 16 shops in the whole of Tokyo).
